Apple Crisp

We had 4 apples left from friends and we were wondering what to do with it. So................

We made apple crisp. It was very yummy and we had it with whipping cream. Delicious!!!

Here is the recipe:

• 4  medium tart cooking apples, sliced 
• 3/4  cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2  cup  all-purpose flour
• 1/2  cup oats
• 1/3  cup butter or margarine, softened
• 3/4  teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 3/4  teaspoon ground nutmeg
• Cream or Ice cream, if desired

P.S. I got the pic from the internet. The apple crisp disappeared to fast to take a picture. 

Since we didn't have nutmeg we left it out but I bet it would be good with it too.

Ward Activity

 

 

We had a great time at a ward activity in Kaiserslautern. It was super fun. Carolin is really good at painting faces and Manuela is good at braiding and doing hair. :)
