Akkordion

We had lots of fun trying out the Akkordion with friends on Rosenmontag. Macy also had fun pushing the stroller and we also had fun eating parfaits.

Luftschlangen

We had lots of fun with our friends and seeing the parade nearby. We also had fun blowing lots of Luftschlangen.

Crazy life!

Romulus

I went to a play with my dad last Monday. It was a really funny play about this Roman King named Romulus. He loved to eat breakfast all day, drink lots of wine, and love his chickens.

What i thought was funny is he sang this song;

Ich wunsch ich war ein Huhn,
Ich hat nicht viel zu tun,
Ich legte jeden Tag ein Ei,
und Sonntag leg ich zwei!

Oh!!!!!!!!!!

And then he sang it again.

Here is the translation:

I wish I was a hen,
I din't have to do very much,
I would lay an egg every day,
and on Sunday I would lay two eggs!

I loved it, but when I hopped in bed it was 10:00!!!

They also had real chickens! It was so funny because they kept getting out and there was one man that was in charge of putting them back in!

Jogginghosen Tag

I thought that it was funny that today was jogging pants day.  But our friends said that their son was the person that said he wanted to do Motto days like the U.S.A. Then he graduated and they came up with some really weird ones.

I thought it was really funny that that was the one that they chose though.

The Grey Tooth

OK, it all started with the talk at dinner last night.

Me: Macy, why do you have a grey tooth?

Dad: Remember when she ran into the cage with pillows?

(we were shopping at a not-so-good furniture store when it happened)

Me: Oh it's extra funny that you ran into a cage of PILLOWS.
Hmmmmmm............................

It would be extra fun to cannonball into it.

Macy: And we could sleep there allllllllllll night.

Dad: I don't think the workers would like that.

Carly: And we could get a board, and then nail it to the cage of pillows!

Dad: I don't think they would like that either.
