How it came to be

When I was little, my Gram gave me this bird. It sings rockin' robin and tweets. I like to sing and dance. She gave it to me when I was a baby and right away I tried to play it and push the buttons.

It warms my heart to see the Robyn bird in your first blog. It's amazing that it still tweets and sings the Rockin' Robin song after all of the trips back and forth to see you.
Grandpa Tim enjoys playing the song on his radio station. Even when you aren't here to hear it we like to remember how special our #1 grandgirl is to us!
Love, Gram

Did you realize that your first post is on our 41st anniversary? Pretty fun!

Your mom's blog won't let me comment again. I'm so glad you joined the choir. There is such joy for me in music. I'm learning more about it every day. I love our mission that gives me the chance to work with it a lot every day. Today we gave the second lesson to a man about 45 years old who is a counselor in the branch presidency. He wants to learn to play Count Your Blessings. After his first lesson he said, "I didn't think it was so hard. I thought it was "facilito". I love it when we have the opportunity to appreciate how hard others have worked to develop their talents.
